Debenhams deliver retail theatre by merging online and offline experience







Friends over at PSFK reported that Debenhams launched an augmented reality pop up store service where shoppers can try on outfits near the UK’s tourist attractions.


The theatre of retail can help brands stand out in a competitive apparel market and this concept delivers it in spades. The wall separating digital and physical is disappearing and Debenhams have done a great job creating a multi-channel experience that includes location, product demonstration, social media and promotion. I love how the concept places you, the consumer, in the picture to try and buy instantly. It's really exciting to see retailers rethinking the retail experience.
